Research Centres

For Safilo technological innovation in products and processes represents an important competitive advantage: over the years Safilo has registered many patents for materials, component parts and production equipment.

The Research Centres constantly work on innovative materials and new components to be used when developing frames, sunglasses and sports items.

In addition to the above activities, there is engineering of new production technology, as well as the creation of innovative production plants which will give the Group technological autonomy and the most advanced industrial know-how.

The Research Centres work together with international research organizations in order to create value by exchanging information, ideas and by launching and developing specific research projects.
